Help us launch a brand-new weekend club for children and young people with learning disabilities.

Kids Can Achieve (KCA), part of LDN London, has an excellent reputation built over 20 years of delivering high-quality, inclusive services for children and young people with SEND in Harrow.

As part of our expansion, we are opening a new weekend club in Ealing, and we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to help lead and shape this exciting new community-based service.

This is a highly rewarding role where you will directly manage a team to support children and young people to build communication, independence and life skills through engaging, meaningful activities. About the Role

As Weekend & After School Clubs – Deputy Manager (SEND), you will:

  • Support the set-up, mobilisation and delivery of our new weekend club in Ealing
  • Help lead our after-school and weekend SEND clubs for children and young people aged 5–25
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred activities including arts, sports, cooking, sensory play, community outings and more
  • Support learning outcomes, communication development, independence skills and wellbeing
  • Act as a first response for safeguarding during sessions and be a named contact for Ofsted
  • Support staff supervision, coaching, rota planning and session organisation
  • Maintain safe, positive and inclusive environments at all times
  • Build strong relationships with families and external professionals

You will work closely with the Centre Manager and will be supported by an experienced and dedicated team who are passionate about making a difference.

Flexible Options to Suit You

This role is based between Ealing and Harrow and we are offering genuine flexibility:

  • Part-time (minimum 15 hours per week) or full-time
  • Term-time only or year-round
  • Regular weekend work
  • Weekend hours typically 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • If full-time, the role will include additional hours in Harrow to support our expansion of Afterschool Clubs.
  • We are happy to discuss and negotiate to find the right working pattern

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children and young people and good knowledge of SEND
  • Has experience supporting staff or leading sessions
  • Communicates clearly, warmly and professionally
  • Is creative, organised and able to run engaging activity sessions
  • Shares our values of kindness, choice, ambition and inclusion
  • Wants to help build a new service and grow with the organisation

A Level 3 qualification in childcare, education, youth work or a related field is required.
