Support our 60th Year

Find out how you can get involved and help us celebrate our 60th year

This year we are celebrating 60 years of supporting people with learning disabilities.

We started with a few parents getting together in a church hall and have grown to supporting hundreds of people each year across 4 London boroughs. On this page you can find out how we are celebrating our 60th anniversary and the different ways you can get involved!

Londoners who have learning disabilities are being left out of their communities.

To change this, we are raising funds to establish a community hub in every borough in which we work. Our first hub is in Westminster.

The hubs will bring people together, tackle social isolation and address the effects of poverty on some of the capital’s most vulnerable people.

At the Hub we provide activities and workshops, teaching crucial life skills and helping people with learning disabilities to play a bigger role in their community. We need to tackle the inequalities faced by people with learning disabilities. You can find out more about our LDN Community hubs and the workshops here.

We need to raise £60k a year to establish and keep each hub open. Our 60th anniversary goal is to raise £300k to set up our Westminster Hub and ensure its future for the next 5 years .  Here are some ways you can get involved and make this happen…

Thanks to your donations this is how much we have raised so far
