We are delighted to announce that on 1st November 2024 after years of working together, Learning Disability Network London (LDN London) and Kids Can Achieve (KCA) merged the two charities.  This merger increases the reach of LDN London to working in Harrow and Ealing and it will ensure we can continue to support Children and young adults with learning disabilities. It will give KCA financial stability being part of the larger network of LDN London.

KCA will keep its own established identity retaining its name and branding.  Our commitment to providing support and services for children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities, along with their carers and families, will remain the same.

KCA has a long history of providing activities and support to children and young adults. Since the formation as a charity in 2002, KCA has been dedicated to helping children overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. The partnership with LDN London began in 2014 and, over the past 10 years, LDN London has provided valuable support in navigating challenges and ensuring the continued growth and success of KCA.

LDN London started off with a nursery over 60 years ago and it is fantastic that we are able to expand the support we are able to offer to children and young people with learning disabilities ensuring they get the best start in life.

KCA shares our commitment to supporting individuals with learning disabilities and their families. Their range of services, including family services, holiday schemes, after school club, creative therapies and outreach, aligns closely with our mission to provide comprehensive support to our community.

The merger will bring several benefits to LDN London. For example, our Family Service will expand with the combination of two teams. Growing our reach to Harrow and supporting more children and young people with learning disabilities will allow us to better serve our community and ensure the sustainability of our services.

We are excited to be merging with KCA and we are looking forward to the future of working together to support people with learning disabilities to stay healthy, be safe and live well.
