LDN London is delighted that our Family Service has been recognised with the Advice Quality Standard.

The Advice Services Alliance – the body for independent advice services in the UK – has awarded LDN London’s Family Service the quality mark after an independent assessment.

This recognises the Family Team’s ability to give excellent professional advice to the families they support.

Maaike Roberts-Claus, Head of Family Service at LDN London, said that the team are very proud to have achieved this: “It is more than a quality mark, it’s a national benchmark that tells families and professionals they can trust our service.”

“This accreditation recognises the consistent, high-quality, and honest support we provide,” Maaike added. “It also strengthens our foundation to grow and support more families across London.”

The Advice Quality Standard is the quality mark for organisations that provide advice to the public on social welfare and legal issues.

Ilias Kostalas, Assistant Director, Children, Youth and Families at LDN London, said: “Achieving the Advice Quality Standard shows LDN London’s strong commitment to providing reliable and professional family support.”

He added: “Our practice is externally audited to ensure it is consistent and high-quality, giving families in Westminster and through KCA in Harrow, the confidence to trust our family service as we help them navigate complex SEND systems.”

Mandy Crowford, Assistant CEO for Growth, innovation and Transformation at LDN London, said: “This accreditation links us into a national framework of quality-assured advice providers who also carry the Advice Quality Standard. This will give us new opportunities to share learning and showcase our specialist expertise.”

To receive this award organisations must demonstrate that they are accessible, effectively managed, and employ staff with the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of their clients.
