We are looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to support Kids Can Achieve Service across Harrow and Ealing, including delivery of weekend and holiday clubs.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of our weekend and holiday clubs, both at KCA (Harrow) and off-site venues in Ealing.
• Lead and supervise staff, including permanent and sessional special needs playworkers.
• Deliver engaging, varied, and inclusive activities for autistic children and young adults, those with learning disabilities, ADHD, and complex needs.
• Support staff in implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and responding appropriately to distressed behaviours.
• Develop and implement person-centred support plans tailored to everyone.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are always followed.
• Communicate professionally with families, schools, and other external professionals.
• Manage rotas and team hours, oversee session outcomes, and support Ofsted compliance.

You should have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND (e.g. in childcare, education, youth work, or social care).
• At least one year of experience supervising or leading staff.
• Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and inclusive practices.
• A flexible approach to work, with availability for weekends and school holidays.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable – we are looking for someone happy to drive our minibus for trips and outings.
