We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Session Leader to join our growing team at Kids Can Achieve (KCA), supporting after-school, weekend, and holiday clubs for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs in Harrow.

What You’ll Do

• Lead high-quality, inclusive sessions that are fun, safe, and responsive to individual needs.
• Support and supervise a team of sessional playworkers during each session.
• Plan and deliver structured activities tailored to children with a range of needs and communication styles.
• Promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and model inclusive approaches to behaviour and play.
• Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are always followed.
• Liaise professionally with families and contribute to person-centred planning and support.
• Contribute to team meetings, supervision, and service improvement.

Who We’re Looking For

You should have:

• At least 3 years’ experience working with children or young people in childcare, education, youth work, or a similar setting.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs.
• A Level 3 qualification in childcare, youth work, or a related field.
• A current Level 2 safeguarding certificate and Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to update).
• A confident, adaptable approach to session delivery.
• Availability to work on a rota including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
