Who we are: 

LDN London (Learning Disability Network London) is an award-winning charity with 60 years’ experience of supporting people with learning disabilities to stay healthy, be safe and live well.  We are at an exciting phase in our development, having just changed our name to reflect the work we do across London.

We have an exciting new position available which will assist the Head of Department in leading and improving the facilities and properties of LDN London and to help plan for future development.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in effective management of facilities services across multiple sites.

About the role:

The Facilities Manager will work as part of the team to oversee the effective property management of an allocated portfolio of properties as agreed with the Head of Department and manage the repairs service for LDN London’s property portfolio, via the Zendesk portal, to ensure the best use of our properties / facilities.

The successful candidate will implement health and safety measures across the organisation in accordance with the Health & Safety legislation.  You will undertake the property risk assessments (PRA) at services across the organisation, including Central Services.

We are looking for an efficient and proactive person to effectively manage the tasks as directed by the Head of Department.  This is a diverse job requiring the Facilities Manager to build a successful communication network internally and externally to provide the best service possible.

You must have experience of working in an organisation with a wide range of services.  In addition, the post holder will be a strong team player with a positive, resilient attitude, be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible and adaptable.
