We currently have a opportunity for an Early Years Manager to join us at our Rainbows Nursery to help us deliver a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children.  Our nursery offers an inclusive service for both mainstream children, and those with special and complex needs. We are a very unique nursery who caters for a very diverse community.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong leadership and experience of creating an environment for academic success for all. The candidate will also have proven experience of leading teams and a clear commitment to inclusive education.

We are interested in people who share our values and passion for enabling greater opportunities for children with learning disabilities and their families throughout their lives.

We deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive services to children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.

About the role:

The post holder will manage the day to day operations of the nursery.

You will manage the smooth and effective running of Ofsted registered inclusive services for children aged 0-5 years, some with significant special needs.

The Early Years Manager will support the provision of activities and opportunities, which promote equality and full inclusion, giving respectful consideration to the children and their families from different cultural and diverse backgrounds.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Hold a Level 6 Childcare or a recognisable childcare qualification(s)
  • Have experience of working with young babies and upwards
  • Experience of working with SEN and disabilities
  • Be a strong team player with excellent leadership skills
  • Understand safeguarding compliance

The post holder will contribute to planning and providing a safe, supportive, fun and stimulating environment for each child attending the centre.  You will deliver a high standard of development and care for children who attend the Rainbow Nursery. The role requires you to promote and support partnership working with the families and external bodies/agencies.
