Our vision is to enable learning disabled Londoners to stay healthy, be safe, and to live well in a society where people with learning disabilities are valued as equal citizens having the chance to make full use of everything their community has to offer just like everybody else.
There are a number of ways you can help depending on the time you have to give. Why not arrange a fundraiser, attend an event or become a corporate volunteer!
We have a developed our Fundraising Charter which sets out our commitment to high standards in fundraising to enable learning disabled Londoners to Stay Healthy, Be Safe and Live Well in a society where people with learning disabilities are valued as equal citizens. You can view our Fundraising Charter here
Your team could spend some time with people with learning disabilities or organise a party or a day trip.
Can you come up with an exciting new idea? Could you tweak an existing event? There’s always a great excuse to put on an entirely new event or add a twist to something.
Volunteering offers enormous personal satisfaction to those with a little spare time and the desire to use their experience to the benefit of others. It can even be a life-changing experience.
You can help to create a brighter future for disabled people and their families.
At the LDN London we make sure that every penny of your money goes on helping your learning disability network.
