At LDN London we support individuals with learning disabilities across London, helping them lead independent, fulfilling lives. By participating in one of our exciting challenge events, YOU can make a real difference! Whether you’re a marathon runner, a cycling enthusiast, or someone looking to try something new, there’s an event for everyone.
Brighton Marathon 2026
Sunday 12th April 2026 | 26.2 Miles | Brighton
This incredible festival of running, held in the iconic seaside city, includes the flagship Brighton Marathon, held on a stunning 26.2-mile course that starts in the heart of the city and finishes in style on Brighton’s world-famous seafront.
This is a marathon like no other – don’t miss out on this lifetime experience.
The Big Half 2026
Sunday 6th September 2026 | 13.1 miles | London
Organised by London Marathon Events, The Big Half is a vibrant, inclusive half marathon with a fun, festival atmosphere. The 13.1 mile course weaves through London from Tower Bridge to the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
LDN London Dragon Boat Race 2026
Friday 15th May 2026 | Surrey Docks Water sports Centre
Take on the team challenge of our LDN London Dragon Boat Race and raise funds for people with learning disabilities. Take on this adrenaline filled event with the backdrop of Canary Wharf. Teams of 11 race against each other for the converted LDN Dragon Boat Trophy. It is a fantastic team building day where no experience is required. London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026
Sunday 12th April 2026 | 13.1 miles | Pall Mall London26
The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster.
The event is not your average half marathon! From cultural landmarks and heritage to the city’s quirky and hidden secrets, runners get to explore the capital on a route like no other!
Places cost just £30 and we are asking for you to raise a minimum of £350
Paris Marathon 2026
Sunday 12th April 2026 | 26.2 Miles | Paris
The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is now one of the biggest marathons in the world and perfectly combines a personal challenge with the chance to discover one of the world’s greatest cities.
Race day will see you pound the pavements of the French capital’s most famous avenues and plazas. Starting at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, and finishing with views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower to guide you home.
Places cost £35 and we are asking for you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £600
London Marathon 2026
Sunday 26th April 2026 | 26.2 miles | London
Our places are sold out for 2026 but we do have 2 places in 2027 if you would like to register your interest
Take on the iconic London Marathon and make a difference! This 26.2-mile route winds through the heart of London, passing legendary landmarks like Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace.
Starting in Greenwich and finishing on The Mall, the flat and scenic course is perfect for first-timers and experienced runners alike. With thousands of spectators cheering you on, it’s an unforgettable experience.
Places cost £50 and we ask you to raise a minimum of £2000 sponsorship. We only have 2 places in this event to make sure you register before its too late
Swim Serpentine
Saturday 19th September 2026 | 2miles | Hyde Park
We only have 4 two-mile places for this year’s event – so reserve your place quickly before you miss out
Swim Serpentine is a swimming event that takes place in the world-famous Serpentine lake in London’s Hyde Park. We have 4 places available in the 2 mile swim. Places cost £35 and we ask you to raise a minimum of £350

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026

This stunning central London run takes in some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and through four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Places cost just £35 – we ask that you raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship.
Tough Mudder
Tough Mudder creates hardcore obstacle courses designed to test your all around strength, stamina, and mental grit. With the most innovative 5K & 15K courses and millions of participants worldwide to date, it is the premier challenge series in the world. This isn’t just an event – It’s a calling. Bungee Jump
Test yourself with an exhilarating bungee jump!
We have a variety of bungee jump locations that you can choose from across the UK with UK Bungee Club
Places cost £60 and we ask you to raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship
Inflatable 5K
Get ready to bounce your way through The World’s BIGGEST and most EPIC Inflatable 5K Obstacle Course!
The excitement has been pumped up to the MAX, you’ll be jumping, sliding, and bouncing your way to the finish line like never before. So grab your friends, lace up your trainers, and get ready for the ultimate inflatable adventure!
Events take place at locations across the UK. Places cost £37 and we ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100.

Your participation helps fund vital programs that provide education, employment opportunities, and community activities for people with learning disabilities. Every pound raised helps us:
Offer life skills workshops at our Community Hub for people with learning disabilities and families
Reduce inequalities faced by people with learning disabilities every day
Provide one-on-one support for individuals who need it most.
Gina is 45 and has a mild learning disability. During lockdown she had a stroke, and she also struggled with loneliness and isolation. Through our sessions she has been doing lots of exercise, from archery to dancing, which has really aided her with her movement after the stroke and improved her mental health.
